Arkansas Farm is an art series created over several decades of Southern rural scenes on and surrounding what was my grandparents' farm on the edge of the Mississippi Delta in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. The series consists of photography, paintings, and drawings.
As a native Arkansan I lived two-hours away in the Ozarks but visited my grandparents very regularly. It was a second home to me. I started photographing the farm as a kid in the 1980s. My work from then through the 1990s and early 2000s was on film and after that I shot digital. I am continuing to scan negatives and slides and will be adding more film and digital work over time.
Most of these photographs are available as limited editions. They have been collected by private and corporate collections. Many of the agricultural scenes, which are not published here yet, have been licensed for publications all over the world.
