Cancellation and Changes – If you wish to cancel or change your order for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible. If your order ships before your request is received, I will not be able to modify your order. If your order ships and you would still like to cancel it, you are responsible for returning the item for a refund. Custom framed orders cannot be cancelled.
Refunds and Returns – All items are eligible for a refund within 30 days of the original delivery with the exemptions of custom framed prints, items shipped via custom-built crates, or items specified as final sale at the point of purchase. Custom framed prints and custom crated artwork may be eligible for replacement if damaged in shipping. For all limited-edition prints I will need to verify the condition of the print and its matching Certificate Of Authenticity before I can issue a refund. Please contact me to begin the returns process.
Important Returns Information:
- Terry Smith Studios is not responsible for and does not reimburse shipping costs on any returns or exchanges, unless due to an error made directly by Terry Smith Studios.
- Pack your return very well. Returned items received in damaged or unsalable condition will incur a 30% fee, taken out of the refund.
- Items with a value of $50 or more must be returned using a trackable method.
- Items returned with a damaged Certificates of Authenticity cannot be accepted for a refund.
- Any items returned without the original Certificate of Authenticity will not be accepted for a refund.
- Custom framed prints are not eligible for a refund.
- It generally takes 5 – 7 business days after receiving your return for it to be inspected and a refund submitted.
Damaged or incorrect orders – If for any reason you receive your art damaged please contact me as soon as possible, so I can resolve and replace the item at no charge to you.
Limited Edition Prints
Terry Smith Studios guarantees that prints offered as Limited Edition are and will continue to be limited to that edition size or smaller. “Second” or follow-up editions will not be published. We will never increase the edition size of a print, but we reserve the right to make any edition size smaller at any time. We retain copyright of all limited edition prints and reserve the rights including, but not exclusive to, other publication formats including inclusion in books and publications, postcards, products, movies and videos, and licensing to third-parties.
Copyright in Regards to Artwork Sales
Any artwork purchased is intended solely and exclusively for your personal viewing enjoyment. Terry Smith retains copyright to all artwork sold through this site. In no case does a purchase of artwork represent a transfer of copyright. In no case can Terry Smith’s purchased artwork be published, copied, televised, digitized, or reproduced in any form whatsoever without the expressed written consent of Terry Smith.

The intellectual property may not be downloaded except by normal viewing process of the browser. The intellectual property may not be copied to another computer, transmitted, published, reproduced, stored, manipulated, projected, or altered in any way, including without limitation any digitization or synthesizing of the images, alone or with any other means or any other method or means now or hereafter known, without the written permission of Terry Smith and payment of a fee or arrangement thereof.
No images are within Public Domain. Use of any image as the basis for another photographic concept or illustration is a violation of copyright.
ALL IMAGES ARE REGISTERED WITH THE UNITED STATES COPYRIGHT OFFICE.
Terry Smith Studios vigorously protects copyright interests. In the event that an infringement is discovered you will be notified and invoiced the industry-standard TRIPLE FEE for unauthorized usage and/or prosecuted for Copyright Infringement in U.S. Federal Court where you will be subject to a fine of U.S. $150,000 statutory damages as well as all court costs and attorneys’ fees.
