Gallo-Roman Ruins Photo Published in Notre-Dame de Paris Book
It’s not the most exciting image in the world, but I’m thrilled to have a photograph of mine licensed and published alongside incredible photos of Notre-Dame.
The image is of the Gallo-Roman ruins from the Archaeological Crypt. The entryway to the crypt is on the far side of the courtyard in front of Notre-Dame. You descend the stairs and literally walk back into time as you go down. Yes, Paris has been around for a very, very long time, and it goes back a long, long time before the Romans were on Ile de la Cite.
